New Horizons Concert Series: Hear Now Festival
The seventh anual HEAR NOW Music Festival come to Chapman! Los Angeles is known as a center of film music, but Los Angeles is also a place where composers are hearing and writing very personal, idiosyncratic, impossible-to-catagorize forms of concert music. HEAR NOW is a festival that features these composers and their music. You'll hear supurb chamber musicians and soloists in some of the most daring and beautiful music being composed today. "...raptrous chamber music..." (Mark Swed, LA Times.) This HEAR NOW festival guest recital is supported in part by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission adn by a grant from the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs and the NEA ArtWorks program.
