Inge’s exploration of small town life, family and the loneliness, boredom and sexual desire that hides behind the white picket fences that surround perfect people leading perfect lives. Picnic has been embraced by generations of audiences for its simple charms. Winner of the 1953 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and 1953 New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play, critics have lauded its authentic, beautiful and often painful depiction of love and longing. Where to Park
After 4p.m. weekdays and all day weekends, visitors may park in the Barrera Structure at Sycamore and Lemon and the Lastinger Structure located off Walnut between Glassell and Center.

Online ticket sales end a minimum of three (3) hours prior to a performance's scheduled start time.

Please be aware that because of the nature of this show there is no late seating. Latecomers will be asked to wait in the lobby until intermission.
