Chapman University Wind Symphony: "Dreams, Dances, and Visions"

The Chapman University Wind Symphony has earned a reputation for its breadth of musicality and consistently high level of performance. Under the direction of Christopher Nicholas, the Wind Symphony performs a wide variety of repertoire, including established wind masterworks, transcriptions, and newly commissioned works. The opening concert of the 2013 season, “Dreams, Dances, and Visions” will feature the music of composers Paul Hindemith, Percy Grainger, Ronald Lo Presti, Frank Ticheli, Ryan George, and others.
About Christopher Nicholas:
Dr. Christopher Nicholas is the recently appointed Director of Bands and Director of Woodwind and Brass Studies at the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music at Chapman University. Prior to his appointment at the Chapman Conservatory, Dr. Nicholas served as the Director of Bands at Colorado State University, as well as on the music faculties of the University of Wyoming, Grinnell College, and Kirkwood College.
